Hunting permits issued by the Otonabee Region Conservation Authority (ORCA) are valid for the calendar year, and permit hunting only on designated conservation areas (please refer to the Hunting page on the Otonabee Conservation website).

CONDITIONS AND DECLARATION (must be completed in full)

All hunting activities will be conducted as per the Conservation Authorities Act R.S.O. 1990 Regulation 127, Conservation Authorities, Otonabee Region; the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act 1997; and, the Ontario Hunting Regulations and other related regulations. Violation of any applicable Act or Regulation(s), including existing or future convictions, will result in permission being withdrawn.
 
Please be advised that wheeled motorized land vehicles (i.e. ATV), drones, trail cameras and the construction of deer stands and hunt camps (temporary or otherwise) are strictly prohibited.

I hereby declare that I have read and understand the aforementioned Conditions and that to my knowledge the Applicant Information is true and complete. I understand that a false statement, false information or actions contrary to ORCA conditions will result in withdrawal of Permission to Hunt on ORCA lands.

Starting January 1, 2025, a $25.00 fee will be required to obtain a Hunting Permit. Payment is mandatory to receive the permit.


After submitting your application by clicking the button below, please allow up to three business days for processing. Our staff will contact you to arrange payment and issue your hunting permit via email.

  • Over the phone: Mastercard or Visa only.

  • In Person at our administrative office: Mastercard, Visa, or cash.
